Synopsis
"Electric Touch" is a historical fiction novel set in the bustling city of London during the early 1910s. The story follows the arranged marriage between two very different individuals: Anna Orlova and Lester La Rue.
Anna is a young woman from a wealthy Russian family who is known for her anti-social tendencies. She is not interested in societal norms or marriage and prefers to spend her time reading books and indulging in her own interests. On the other hand, Lester is a notorious womanizer who has a reputation for his hedonistic lifestyle.
Despite their differences, Anna and Lester are forced into an arranged marriage by their families. At first, they are both resistant to the idea of being married to someone they barely know, but they eventually come to an understanding and agree to make the best of their situation.
As the story progresses, the reader follows the ups and downs of Anna and Lester's first year of marriage. They struggle to find common ground and adjust to their new roles as husband and wife. Anna finds it difficult to break out of her shell and connect with her husband, while Lester must confront his past behavior and make changes in order to be a better partner to Anna.
As they navigate the challenges of married life, Anna and Lester begin to develop a deep bond and understanding of each other. They come to realize that despite their differences, they are both searching for the same thing: love and companionship.
"Electric Touch" is a tale of two people from different worlds learning to come together and find happiness in each other. It explores themes of love, marriage, societal expectations, and personal growth against the backdrop of early 20th century London.
