Rian is an American student studying abroad in Ireland when a chance encounter with a misunderstood ancient relic throws him into an otherworld of magic, mythical gods, strange creatures, and political machinations of the inhabitants that he would do well to avoid.   At the command of a most unwanted companion, Rian is forced to venture forth into this strange old world with a new body, unreliable magic power, no combat training, and absolutely no idea what the feck a púca is. He must travel across the land while facing unknown dangers and foes to find the lost treasures that hold dangerous secrets to both the otherworld and his own.
