It was a quaint day in the swamp Egosum called home. His future was bright and his opportunities were endless. Their civilization had been elevated from mud-crawling beasts to bipedal mages through the leadership of their almighty Mageking. Prosperity and fertility spread throughout the swamp he loved. This all changed one day when his life and the kingdom he lived in was altered forever.
