Long ago, the galactic stage was set with three great races—the Tyraxi, the Arseur, and humans. Around the time that a new race, the Caloxi joined, the Tyraxi unjustly declared a war of extinction on humans, with the Arseur remaining passive bystanders. Despite the Caloxi's efforts to intervene and help, the Tyraxi prevailed, hurling Earth into a black hole. Miraculously, humanity survived and emerged with unseen before power, though vastly reduced to a mere 1600 individuals from billions. Centuries later, a new race, the Arus—a race of warlords—has risen. They now wage an extermination campaign against the Caloxi, humanity's first and only allies, aiming to make an example of them. With victories mounting, the Arus armada now stands poised to obliterate the Caloxi homeworld.
