Thrust into an unknown realm, Alice finds herself lost and disoriented, with only a newfound affinity for Pain Magic and the whim of a nation she doesn't trust to keep her safe. Fortunately, she won't be alone. Tentative alliances and the very gods' will seem to be in her favour. She'll need all the help she can get - gods included - to stop Mistfall from falling to the Blood Blossom's swarm of horrors. If she wants to grow into someone capable of standing up on her own, Alice will need to survive the living nightmares that plague Aethas at every turn; man-eating forests, plant/undead hybrids that drain life essence until there is nought but dust, and long-lost ruins filled with things better left forgotten, lest they wake up.
