ANNOUNCEMENT

I have decided to rewrite the whole story!

For the past few days, I have been going through the chapters I wrote before and I realized, there was a huge amount of problem. Before I get to them, let me tell you how I wrote this story. That was also where most of the problems began.

For a long time, I was playing with the idea of writing a story with Xuanhuan + LitRPG elements. Slowly, a story formed in my head. However, to my horror, I realized my language and my style were not up to the task. I can’t waste my idea, that’s I thought. Then, I conceived the idea of writing a prototype that I could use as my grinding stone to improve my writing as well as perfect the system I was going to use.

That’s how this story ‘Eat and Grow Strong’ began.

When I wrote this story, I didn’t put much thought and wrote whatever came to my mind. Everything was casual. Apart from a vague outline and some shadowy characters, I didn’t plan much. That was the first problem.

I powered-up the main character whenever I thought the story was losing steam. That was the second problem. In that process, the main character refused to stay confined in the outline I created. The world I created (not that I created much of it) became too small for him. You can notice that from the anticlimactic battle. At that stage, I had no idea how to go on.

The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there.

The cultivation system is also flawed. It is almost redundant. Replace it with level-system and nothing will change.

The setting was not planned out well. From the hiccup at the very first city, you can see that there wasn’t much. The characters were not planned out well. They appear so randomly. The pace, it is all over the place. The plot has also spiraled out of control.

As a reader, there are two things I really hate: one, incomplete stories and two, a disappointing end. At this rate, I feel that this story is heading towards one or the other. Therefore, I decided to write it again. This time, with a proper plan and plot progression.

I know that it is unfair on my part to pull a stunt like this. I am really sorry about it. Please find it in your heart to forgive me. You have given me a huge support and I can’t thank you enough for it. I will try my best to make it up to you with the revised version of this story.

If everything goes as I have envisioned, I should be back in twenty to twenty-five days.

Thank you once again for everything.
