They have been the death of kingdoms and families, and number amongst the reasons true sovereignty is a thing of Rhium’s long ago past. Alcaeus of Nemea stands with rebels five, friends all. Together they seek to further themselves towards the summit of supremacy. Together they face trials tread by a thousand-thousand gone ahead. Together they look to depose the godking on high from Their Tower Throne. Alone, Alcaeus stumbles elsewhere. Such is the beginning. ~ Note, this is a work of literary fantasy. It is not an 'easy' read, per se. It is, however (I hope), a fun one. Rather than having you (the reader) sprint through passages, each sentence a singular morsel containing some manner of fantastical telling, my goal is for you to chew. ~
