I feel light and soft beneath my feet, the warm air blew as the sun's shine radiate warmth. I could hear the crashing waves and taste the salt from the air, this is unusual.

This must be the afterlife.

I had already died, in the hands of my own father. Right now, I wonder if there's anyone who would hold my funeral, as well as my mother's since we both died at the same time, killed by the same person. The memories of my father with the bloodied knife after he had stabbed my mother, who was supposed to prepare beef stew for dinner. I wonder if he had died too, or perhaps he ran away, that would sound like something he would do but I hope that wherever he is, he would be punished greatly for what he did.

I snapped back to the letters in front of me, I tried to reach for it but my hand only goes through. 

That's odd, the letters are different, I haven't seen them before, even though I'm only a commoner who never had an education nor the ability to read or to write, these letters are very different, although for some reason, I can read them, I understand but I can't tell how.

I reach for the word that says yes and another box pops up in front of me.

I hesitated for a while before reaching for yes again, what will happen after this? Where would I be sent after this? Countless questions ran inside my head, eventually the box disappeared and I am met with a bright light that engulfed my surrounding, I could feel my body float as the wind blew harder.
