Fifty years after the first Gate appeared, Earth is nothing like it was back in 2022. Anyone can raise their Level and get stronger as long as they are willing to enter Dungeons and fight monsters. Well, to every rule there's an exception.  While System gives incredible powers to others, it gave nothing but incredible struggles to Dexter Reed. No matter how much sweat and blood he sheds, he's still a pathetic Level 0. Perhaps the only one in the world. Saving his sister and avenging his parents nothing but pipe dreams. Only after being abandoned by his party as a decoy for monsters, does Dex learn that the solution to all his problems has been with him all along. He just needed to die, first.
