Synopsis
The world of Gale is under attack by the Demon Lord Aar'abith! The world is in peril, and no one can save them. However, in dark times, heroes will always rise up, and an unbeatable party of four comprised of the best fighters from the three kingdoms, and an unbelievably powerful being from a fantasy land called 'Earth', summoned by the greatest of the Haan mages, are ready to take the Demon Lord on. The battle was fierce, but, finally, the Demon Lord was triumphant. Wait, what?
The heroes' efforts were not in vain however, and Aar'abith fell into a deep slumber, making no move for two years. However, the dark clouds surrounding the Haan kingdom's castle remained, growing larger and larger. It was clear to all that the unreturned party had ultimately failed. Each kingdom scrambled as their fate seemed sealed, but all that happened were increasing numbers of demons appearing all over the continent.
A Selachi prince suddenly becomes the heir to the throne in this dystopic reality when his sister dies. Stricken with grief, the king falls ill, and now the entire country has fallen into Prince Sua's lap against his will. If war against otherworldly beings wasn't enough, Sua is also struggling with his feelings towards his fiance, Lady Ina. The lack of feelings, that is.
An Averian nobleman's son across the world is living the opposite life. High in the mountains and safe from the Demonic Scourge, he enjoys his wealth and freedom amongst other Averian socialites. However, Ernie can't look away from the fact that the world is crumbling beneath his feet. With no way to stop it, Ernie loses himself in archery practice during the day, and booze and the arms of another at night.
Locked away with the heart of everyone's problem, Princess Mina of Haan wastes away in her bedroom as a hostage. The Demon Lord bothers her on his own occasionally, but Mina takes great care to avoid encountering him otherwise in the castle. Two years ago Mina learned that no one is coming to save her. She isn't going to die here, and if her hands have to be the ones to snuff out Aar'abith's life, she will spend however long it takes trying to kill him.
Riley had finally died, but he opened his eyes in a dark, damp basement, surrounded by creepy old men in robes. Now he has to save their entire world, before he can return to Earth. Riley may have received powerful magic, but he doesn't want to stay in a world without the comforts and entertainment of modern life. The daily training the Haan King forces him to go through furthers Riley's resolve to leave, and makes him possibly the strongest person in the world. Riley just wants to get this over with, but the regent king still insists he isn't ready. Even if he doesn't want to, Riley will give it his all and kill the demon king, no matter what this world throws at him!
