Dreams of a better future were futile to him when all he saw was his eventual death. Lucian was born in a pool of blood at the steps of the orphanage. Growing up, he was never able to truly fit in, or find a purpose in life. Misery was his company. When a series of events at his school takes a turn for the worst, he wakes in another world, one more dark, mysterious, and daunting than the one he had lived in. It was clear he was not on Earth anymore, nor was he a student. Lucian was bound to chains in a slave caravan being shipped off to the edges of an island where horrors await him. Follow Lucian as he grapples with this ancient world full of men, monsters, and Gods, but also politics, mystery, and potential for something even he could never dream of. Hope.
