Synopsis
In the misty town of Shillong, Arnav, a Year-old boy with a passion for animation, is haunted by recurring dreams of a mysterious girl he has never met. Each night, she appears in a field of sakura blossoms, her face blurred, but her presence unmistakable. The dream leaves him with an overwhelming sense of longing, but Arnav brushes it off, chalking it up to his overactive imagination.
However, everything changes on the first day of his 10th grade year. Arnav walks into his classroom and sees Devangi, the girl from his dreams, sitting by the window, as if she had been waiting for him all along. But how is this possible? Who is she, and why does she feel so familiar?
As Arnav and Devangi’s lives intertwine, strange coincidences continue to unfold, and their connection deepens, though they are pulled apart time and again. But Arnav’s fear of revealing his feelings—and the mysterious gaps in their story—leaves their relationship on a fragile edge. The final moment of their school years arrives, and Arnav is urged to confess everything. But will he? And even if he does, will the truth of their bond be enough to bridge the gaps between their worlds?
Years later, Arnav is a successful animator, but the question of Devangi—her presence, her absence, the truth of their past—haunts him. Why does he feel so incomplete despite everything he has achieved? Was it all just a dream, or is something far deeper at play?
Dreamfall is a story of fate, connection, and the search for answers to questions that may never be fully understood. In the end, Arnav must discover what is truly at stake before time slips away.
