I laughed heartily as I swirled around the sky as Drogan shrieked with half excitement and half terror. The human child had nothing to fear as I made sure not to turn upside down or go too fast that he’d lose his grip. And even if he fell I’d catch him swiftly yet I’d want him to have trust and faith in me keeping him safe.
Upon my shadow casting down to the surface the citizens took notice of my flight and cheered as they saw me but not knowing their prince rode upon my back. A dragon rider he was, a human without fear of the dragon he is on as well as the dragon longing to protect the rider on their back. I chuckled as he is the first and only human I’d allow on my back as I truly just wanted to stretch out my wings.
“ Can you go faster, Bone? I really want to feel the power of your wings!” He yelled as loud as he could over the wind
“ I’ve never seen a dragon with six of them. Is it just a goddess thing ?” He asked while I slowed in the sky turning my head to look at him sitting on the base of my neck.
“ Many of my children have as many wings as they need, be it three pairs or more it depends upon how long they are or even what they need them for, be it swimming in water or gathering power from lightning. “ I smiled widely while I stood in the sky, stardust from my scales swirled around my wings and head glittering and shimmering in the light of my star. I’ve come to learn that different creatures called it different names; the Sun, Solis, Starforge, and Selila to name a few.
“ As for going faster I don’t think that would be wise, little one I truly do not want any harm to befall you.” I spoke slightly sternly to make sure the other heard as well in case any of my children offered to give him a riding experience that could harm him or even do worse.
The children looked sad but knew better than to harm or hurt the gifts given to them. They were to be friends and make bonds with each other. Drogan blushed softly giving a sad look as well on his face.
“ I truly hope you understand that you could get hurt and I would not want your parents to be befallen with grief with having their child hurt or even worse !“ I spoke softly while Drogan nodded
“ You sound like Mother!” He huffed as he buried his face into my neck fur.
I laughed heartily
“ I am a mother so I would have the same feeling of worry towards any child as if they where my own.” I puured lovingly as some of my children nuzzled my neck and head chirping and trilling quietly while others landed near where Drogan was sitting and nuzzled his face softly.
“ See, they love you and want to take care of you on my planet! I only want harmony and happiness for all so that the newer generations to come can feel the love that everyone has to share !” I spoke heartfeltly remembering Mother god and how she taught me all the ways of being a god along with sister Death and brother Life and auntie Giasa. They all taught me what it’s like to be loved and how to love as well. I was happy to have a planet that had creatures I could call my family on it.
I looked below before tucking in the last pair of wings letting myself slowly descend towards the ground aiming for the large river near the kingdom. Noticing some citizens were moving to the river where I was landing, I recognized what was to be an entourage of knights and royals marching ahead of them with some sort of cloth on a pole fluttering about with a pattern looking like a dragon with six wings and a star above the head. I chuckled as Drogan yawned sleepily before noticing the crowd as we got closer.

“ Mommy and Daddy!!” He chirped as he shot upright. I turned my head to look at him. He looked very tired. He still was a human child so I could understand the tiredness and nuzzled him softly to keep him on my neck while the children next to him curled up to stabilize him so he wouldn’t fall.
Unfurling my tucked wings I used all six to softly land into the water without it rippling onto the shore where the other creatures waited.
“ Dragon Goddess Bone I’m King Atlas this is my Queen Starla, I beseech you please have you seen our son he is only ten his name is Drogan an homage to you! ” He implored as I could see worry and concern on all the faces of the people before me. I nodded softly as one of my children took Drogan to his family as his mother cried out with relief
“ Drogan Atticus Eden Athen!” She scolded him as she held him tenderly tears falling down her face
“ When your teacher told us you never made it to his lesson for all of the day we were so worried about you!” She whimpered softly as Drogan kissed her cheek lovingly
“ I’m ok mama, Bone let me take a ride on her back. It was so fun, you have to try it, we went so high!” He spoke sleepily but with still a hint of excitement while the dragon that took him to his mother laughed softly
“ He is a natural to-be rider but, I understand how scared you were to know he was missing “ he spoke to the queen as she nodded and gradually petted his snout
“ Thank you child of our goddess “ she cooed thankfully.
The dragon puured as he nuzzled into her hand
“ Of course we don’t want harm to befall any of you creatures.” He spoke tenderly as the queen looked at him pleased then turned to me with the same expression. The king dismounted his Lettis, this one different then the one King Atticus had rode. This Lettis was pure white which is rare for such a creature. I remember Gloricus telling me when he created these creatures that he only liked the color of their fur to be black, red, blue, and orange. He never liked any other color. I wondered what caused this one to become such a strange color for this species.
King Atlas knelt down “ Thank you Goddess, our kingdom has again received your help at a time of need be it even if there wasn’t truly any emergency.” He spoke with a slight humor while I nodded graciously
“ Please little one stand, just as I told your ancestor King Atticus, there is no need to bow before me. We are all family, none are above the other .” I spoke compassionately as I lovingly rubbed my snout against his cheek tenderly
The king looked honored at the gesture while his queen held their son. The king chuckled softly as his citizens who joined in seeing my landing in the river, approached some of my children and started to bond with them. My heart swelled as I could see many of these creatures would be great dragon riders and have a bond of heart and soul.
“ I want to have a celebration for the kingdom so everyone can have a bond with your dragon children!” King Atlas spoke excitedly as he watched his wife still holding onto the dragon next to her tenderly.
Everything was falling into place and soon I could leave this planet to make another system with more children and take from the seed mother god gave me, if it bore fruit, after turning into a tree of life. As by its name it's something Life came up with.
The tree of life, if I took its fruit and planted its seed into another planet of my creation, it would grow into another tree. It was a way that I could transfer all the other creatures and plants on this planet to another one without bothering the gods to place their creations onto another planet of mine. After all, the gods would be busy with their own planets.
