Four children enjoy a summers day. They spot something gleaming in the spring waters, and while three fish out a magical scale, one is left with a dark and worthless scale. On that night, a strange woman visits them, pleading for them to reverse the curse placed onto her. But to do so, they must sacrifice something they cherish most.
