Bards tell tales of dragons, but they are merely half truths. In reality these powerful beings lived among humans, manipulating the world from the shadows, until the Dragon Summit that is.  We experience this world by following Dover on his journey. Dover is a Wildling, a hunter who avoids civilization whenever possible. This all changes when he sets his sights on a dragon. Pursuing this dragon results in an end to his solitary life, he finds trustworthy companions and is dragged into world changing events like the Dragon Summit, where Dragons reveal themselves to humanity.  Now, sponsored by the troublesome Lord Driks, the brash Dover and naive sorceress Cyder travel the lands as needed to keep the world safe. They are now known as Dragon Company and this is their origins. Dragon Company is set in a traditional human focused fantasy world. Swords and Sorcery are a way of life and cities must always be on guard against monsters. The story was originally written as part of NaNoWriMo several years ago and as such is fully written but in need of heavy editing. The story is currently told in four parts, and all together it is somewhere between novella and novel length.
