When four high school friends—Harunosuke, Satoshi, Natsumi, and Kaida— kick off their summer break by spending the night at Harunosuke’s house, they find an old Ouija board tucked away in the basement. Though skeptical of its powers, they humorously decide to try it out, hoping for some fun. But when the board begins to move on its own, spelling out cryptic warnings, the group dismisses it as a prank. That is until the lights flicker, the air grows cold, and the room fills with an eerie, oppressive energy. In a panic, they flee the basement, but when they leave, nothing feels right. The world outside has changed. The streets are familiar, yet distorted, and strange noises can be heard from outside. The group soon realizes they are in a twisted parallel world, one that seems to exist as a shadow of their own reality. As they struggle to understand what’s happening, strange creatures and distorted versions of their loved ones begin to appear, hunting them in the dark. Desperate to find out more about this world, the friends race against time to uncover the truth about this world and the mysterious force that brought them to this alternate dimension. But with every step they take, they are confronted by their deepest fears and the realization that the very thing they unleashed might seep through to their universe.
