Shawna had several motives to move back to her hometown. Leave trauma she'd acquired in Germany behind, and makeup to everyone she'd abandoned four years ago. She starts by dragging her best friend Gus along in the "greatest adventure of our lives." Also known as creating a private detective agency and piss off Oakland's Head Detective (obviously).
