Chapter 1: Nihility  

   From a young age Zyrell never knew the closeness of a family. He, had the last name of the Moon family thanks to his step-father taking him in when he was found in a cradle on the doorstep of the family's compound. Even if he carried this last name he still couldn't hide the fact that he was nothing but an orphan, because he was not marked with the moon crest on his lower left eye that everyone of the moon bloodline carried. It also didn't help that he was the only one in Wyvern City with Violet eyes.

Due to all of this he grew up in isolation with only the leader of the family, his step-father to care for him. This made him quite sad in his earliest days but as he grew it slowly stopped affecting him and it even served to sharpen his personality making him become more mature then other kids his age. Zyrell learned much like all the other kids in this world, the only thing that mattered was strength only the people who had it could be treated with respect.

The awakening ceremony was a tradition that everyone in The Aurora World had to go through at the age of 7 before they can begin cultivation. This determined a martial artist future path, if your bloodline was not strong enough you couldn't hope to travel very far in cultivation. This year 5 children from the Moon clan would be turning 7 Zyrell included so it was decided to hold each of their ceremonies on the same day. This was a relatively large event, even the other powers within the city where paying close attention to the moon families awakening ceremony, although the weakest of the 3 three Great clans they still held high influence in Wyvern city and every genius that was born was another threat to the families it might even tip the delicate balance of power within the city.
