Dissensus is a story following Taylor, who secured a position as an alpha tester for Dissensus, released by Kane Corporation, an industry giant shrouded in shade and mystery. Within, loyalty shifts like sand, and factions vie for control. Death and betrayal are naught but a finger's twitch away. Virtuality blurs into reality. Victory is unlikely. The pale scythe of death hangs above, severing heads as chaff. For a desperado like Taylor, circumstances to thrive are perfect. Morior Invictus What this story promises: -A progression system that focuses on one's skill and equipment. Equipment is almost more necessary than the person wielding it. A master marksman is nothing without his rifle. -The combat in this novel will include depictions of infantry, vehicles, orbital weapons, etc. It is heavily sci-fi based. -The action, adventure, and science fiction components will not presently occur in reality but inside a virtual reality. There will be components of reality for relevant background information.
