Synopsis
In a chaotic twist of fate, June Slik—Earth’s most charming bachelor—finds himself aboard the starship Alcatraz, facing a death sentence for a crime of infidelity. With his wedding day approaching, a misunderstanding leads him to invoke a desperate legal maneuver by requesting a time-travel punishment to retrieve three seemingly innocent items from the past.
Transported back to May 15, 1985, June must navigate the treacherous waters of high school life, all while donning the appearance of a socially awkward teenager. His mission requires him to charm three women into handing over an acid-washed jacket, a wooden ruler, and a Walkman, using comically awkward pick-up lines that threaten to end in disaster.
As June battles through encounters with hostile high school bullies, a terrifying elderly nun, and a fierce roller derby queen named Wanda, he discovers that his smooth-talking ways are no match for the challenges he faces. With time running out, and a comical blend of humiliation and charm guiding him, June must embrace his awkward situation to complete his task and return to the future.
But when his victory is threatened by a musical twist of fate, June learns that sometimes, embracing failure is the key to survival. Will he escape his solar fate or become a cautionary tale of cosmic comedy?
