Synopsis
Agea The Sun Warden is a kind Goddess of nature, growth, light and love. Her people enjoy a relaxed fulfilling existence full of magic and wonder. She serves as their protector, the forger of the massive and ancient Separation Wall, that keeps the people of Golden Bloom safe from endless hordes of monsters on the dark plains across the wall, known only as The Desolation Fields. Each month she crosses the Separation Wall, her people assuming that she is fighting back the hordes to protect them.
In reality, her cursed existence as a Dichodeity means that she transforms into a God of death, cruelty, and decay on the monthly interval. Traxillian The Defiled rules over the Desolation Fields, giving his people cruel Curses alongside powerful Boons and an apocalyptic continent rife with terrifying beasts and undead monsters. Agea and Traxillian share their minds and memories, and decided long eons ago to forge The Pact that would allow them to co-exist and each have their own domain. But The Pact is tentative, and the truth could escape in any number of ways, dooming everything and everyone to shattered annihilation.
In The Desolation Fields, a small group of survivors band together and navigate the nightmare that is Traxillian's creation. Each of them debilitated by a Curse of ironic cruelty, they must work together to carve out a life and search for a safe existence. In Golden Bloom, a group of young adventurers decide to find out once and for all just exactly what the Desolation Fields look like, vowing to use their divinely granted gifts to scale The Separation Wall. All the while Agea must maintain The Pact and keep her people away from Traxillian's wrath.
