It has been roughly a century since the reign of tyranny had ended. An era where one’s strength, was the only symbol of righteousness.  This misguidedness soon became the spark of a great conflict, which came to be known as the “War of the Magi.”  With the decimation of the mightiest race the “Dragonians” The strife soon reached its end. Now, free from oppression, the remaining sprites of Ether had decided to start a new era, under their newly developed system of government. While temporary peace had ensued, signs of inequality would once again begin to sew conflict into their peaceful lives.  Would everything that had transpired, all been for naught? *** Cyaroru is nothing but a human, the weakest sprite in all of Ether. Born into a humble serf family with a slight aptitude in magic. She lived most of her life working as a forager in the rural village of Prairie. She is a naïve and sincere young woman almost to a fault, driven by her desire to succeed in her deceased mother’s footsteps, who was the sole parent that had raised her. She’d adhere closely to all her ideals and outlook on life, claiming her dream as her own.  As she’s only been exposed to grand ideals, consequently, she’s far too trusting of others, and she never had understood the complete truth that is ‘reality’.  Yet, life is all about decisions. Decisions that’s plentiful during one’s life span. Which she’s now about to make for her own sake… or for others as well? ******* Author's Notes: This is the first story that I wrote and I posted on Royal Road. Writing is a hobby of mine that, I'd really like to expand, hence I'm gonna start posting it here. I'm worried about the grammar mistakes or splices when I write.
