Laura met Scott on Tinder, the two hit it off and as romance was in the air, Laura ventured out of her comfort zone and finally went on a date, unbeknownst to her it would change her life forever. Diaries of a Necromancer follows the perspective of Laura as she is dragged into a hidden world of magic and monsters by her saviour Dunstan Bloodoak, who is a former would-be villain turned reformed good-ish guy, who may or may not have done some terrible things in his past. As their paths crosses he takes the good natured, fledgling vampire under his wing, whether it's out of a sense of obligation, accountability, boredom or something else is up for the reader to find out, as Laura discovers a "new" world of wonders and horrors.
