The book deals with an alternate universe to our own. Most of the history coincides with what we know (with the exception of the supernatural elements, of course), but it starts diverging from seventy years ago when the supernaturals revealed their existence to the humans.In most of the world the transition was a peaceful one since it was all planned in detail, but the book will mainly focus on New York city for now.Aside from the political manipulations, the media silencing and the underground fight for control, there will be betrayals, romance, conflict and much more. The search for the first vampire is a pressing matter for the members of the High Council of Vampires, as is finding out how to break the curse he is under. The vampires are trying to seize control of the world. The Sharur are trying to keep a balance between supernaturals and humans. The witches are divided between the two sides while the humans are, for the most part, blissfully ignorant to the true depth of the danger they are in.
