In the depths of Southern Ohio, stands the city of Brightson. It’s an old industrial town that manages to provide livelihood for several hundred thousand people. Known affectionately as “Diamond City” by its inhabitants, the town is prosperous, even if the wealth is not shared to everyone. It’s the late 1950’s, Eisenhower reigns in Washington and the only outside force anyone worries about comes from Russia.But Brightson is about to undergo a change. Several treasure hunters have unlocked the genus loci guardian of the city. She appears as a red-headed woman named “Diamond” and has slept undisturbed since the city’s founding, hundreds of years ago. She has all the power needed to protect her city but lacks the knowledge of the modern age and what motivates people. She’ll need human helpers to do her job.And Diamond is confronted by “the hidden folk”: various ghouls, demons and even alien lifeforms who want to claim the city for themselves. It’s a difficult task, but one for which she was made.Will she triumph and will “Diamond City” survive?
