Selene Belmont Edrya, the only Empress of the country of Edrya, and she was once beloved by those under her rule despite the magic attribute for darkness. However, a few months had passed since her step-sister’s enthronement as Queen, the second wife of the Emperor. And then Selene’s reign of terror was slowly beginning. She would soon succumb to treason, embezzlement, and murder if it meant the one she loved would be happy without her in their way. She needed the title of Empress removed and her life to be banished since she no longer had anything anchoring her in Edrya. But she would soon find that there is more to life than the duty forced upon her shoulders since she was born as the Duke’s daughter.
