The island nation of Avskild is on the verge of destruction when monsters start appearing, somehow getting through the shield that has protected them for nearly 200 years. They'll need more Grimnirs and their magic to remain safe, but the only way to obtain magic is to venture through a dangerous cave filled with monsters and hope to emerge alive. Depending on how they survive, they emerge with different powers.
