Author's note - As a reader I love realistic stories and characters who don’t shatter my immersion. Show don't tell, narration. Adequate details to see the world, but not enough to quell my imagination. Magic systems that make sense, and no hand-holding to keep the mystery alive. So expect to find all that here.  Despite the sometimes horror of a cruel world, this is a light-hearted adventure that presents a cast of characters that I hope you find as enjoyable to read as I found to write.
