The Great Demon Wars changed the world. Demons lead by the Evil God Balthomel ravaged the land and took countless lives. All seemed lost until the hero Gabriel Alrduid performed a sacred pact with the Supreme Goddess Ariah. Forming the Great Six with his trusted allies who also performed the sacred pact with five other gods, Gabriel and Ariah successfully contained Balthomel with a sealing spell, but at the cost of whatever life force remained in them. Fast forward onto the present, a new generation of warriors called Demonslayers maintain the peace in the land. Rumor has it that a cult aiming for the release of Balthomel is on the move. Simon Helmbarte, unconscious after a horde of demons attacked their village, awoke to a mysterious young girl named Shera letting him rest on her lap. Shera happens to be a spirit with no memories except her name wandering the forest. Simon and Shera enter a spiritual pact after he promises to help her regain her memories. In return, Shera grants Simon the power needed to slay demons and avenge the death of his village.
