No trial reaches an end until she sings of it's conclusion... and she's very shy." ~???      Defy The Legends follows a group of forgotten heroes dubbed the "Defiant," each of nine being the spiritual successors of legendary warriors from a time long past, who defended the world of Takera from the denizens of the Void.      During their time, when even divine forces stood no chance against evil, these heroes rallied together as the world approached the brink of annihilation: a cataclysm known as the Great Schism.      However, in the present day, their successors stand scattered throughout the world, and Demonic forces have begun to encroach upon the Overworld once again.      In a cruel twist of fortune, Fate has ultimately left all but one of the Defiant's successors with an affliction to nullify their ancient connection, ensuring that they'd never reunite to prevent the Schism's next arrival. One of those dragged into the fray of this uncertain catastrophe is Kyoya Miskrit: an unlikely legend pursuing a path with no way back.      For the sake of his home, he's forced to trust someone believing themselves to be a long-lost defender of their world and assist them in gathering the Defiant once again. Together, they trudge onward in hopes of silencing the whispers of darkness that seek to return from the depths and bring about calamity...  ...Only this time, for good.
