When the elves and dwarves discovered their work, they launched a deadly assault, killing everyone in the town—except for Jack. In a final act of spite, using an arcane circle, Jack killed every single living thing in and around the town, including himself—or so he thought. Hundreds of years later, Jack awakens in the ruins of his old town, his soul now bonded to the dungeon core. Reborn as an undead lich, he sets out to rebuild his town into his own dungeon.
