But as he gets entangled in this world— trashy it may be. He comes to care about its inhabitants and rekindles his love of fantasy. Only one problem. He is this worlds all-mighty big bad. If he ever wants to get out, He'll have to wage war on the very world he's trapped in. Authors Note/Content Warning: while Death By Protagonist pokes fun at the tropes and conventions of the Isekai genre. It also wholeheartedly embraces them. Expect to read about an OP MC, kingdom building, progression elements, a harem that includes explicit "spice" scenes, and some "Breasted Boobily" character descriptions.  My goal with this story is not to crap on these tropes, but revamp them in a way that is hopefully more mature, thoughtful and nuanced then I've seen them before. The MC is a grown man with both a sense of morality and practicality. The harem consists of adult women who still have their own shit going on outside of being love interests. And while the MC is indeed overpowered, he still goes through plenty of growth and has struggles that can't be solved by blowing them up.  If that's not your cup of tea, no sweat, this story probably won't be enjoyable for you. If it is, I'd love your feedback on how I can build the more mature yet still fun and trashy fantasy story that I've always wanted to read.
