During the Mexican revolution, a young girl Dorotea Galia is traded off by her mother to a coven of witches and ultimately a vampire sorceror. She awakes in a world of death and ancient Goddesses. Is this her fragile mind dealing with disturbing abuse, or is she dead and lost in the underworld? Based loosely on the Eleusinian Mysteries, Dark Fantasy and Wizard of Oz. Starring Pacho Villa in his debut role as a vampire hunter!  My interest was in reigniting the mystery cults of Goddesses along the silk road, of Mithras, of Hermes, of Astarte and Demeter. Our young Dorotea is as much Persephone in Hades as a reference to a tornado in Kansas, instead of a rural missing girl along the border of Matamoros.
