Alex stands at the peak of the multiverse, having ascended to the realm of God King long ago he has found that there are no higher realms to aspire to. Despite his efforts to find enjoyment in life outside of cultivation Alex finds himself bored and alone. Sitting on top of a peak in the Zenith realm on a day like any other he had a though. What if he could find a way to regain the spark he once had. He often had this thought, but today was different, today he also had an idea that could make it possible. His favorite memories were all from when he was young and just starting down the path of a cultivator, what of he went back to that, started a new life, one where he would once again be a mortal and face down threats that posed real danger to him. He didn't know how he would do it but he was a God King, surely there was a way. With his new goal he set off with a purpose for the first time in a long time. Alex would once again travel the path of the cultivator, but this time with the collective knowledge of an ancient God King.
