Allard Astarre is Liege Lord of the Forelands, a reclusive province and people, but finds himself reluctantly thrust into the Realms' political spotlight when his brother, and Seeker of Justice, flees Briarhill after being accused of attacking the Crown Prince Alden Thorn.
