Synopsis
Harriet has always had her head in the clouds, and when she comes to this beach-side college to get her career in Chemistry off the ground, she meets Clara, a soon to be best friend. Everything is looking amazing for Harriet, when suddenly tragedy strikes her before she could graduate, and she is suddenly an outsider to Clara's world - and must lead her own grand adventure alone. Facing an unfathomable loss and unprecedented heartache, she must start a new life, and fast; the clock is ticking - and time for Clara is up.
Clara is a bright yet mislead young athlete with aspirations of going to the Olympics, but with drug addict parents and friends that don't really care, she gave up on that dream until she met Harriet. With this amazing light of friendship guiding and teaching her, Clara finds herself with the tools and will to make something with her life. But without Harriet, she is once again astray in a world that doesn't care if she lives or dies. With nothing but a useless degree and no home, how long can she make it without her best friend? How is she supposed to continue on when dealing with depression that eliminates all paths but one? Clara must deal wrestle with her grief and learn to move on - or face the consequences.
