Evan is an orphan of Starspire, one of the many city-states on Piter. Like many, he is an ordinary mortal who grew up hearing grand tales of powerful cultivators – where mountains are parted with a single slash of the sword, or where oceans are boiled away under the might of a mage. At the same time, he doesn't want to be a conventional cultivator – he wants to be a craftsman. One who isn’t content with just the lone path of formations. The reasoning for this was simple – craftsmen didn’t have to risk their lives every day to enjoy superior wealth and incredible comfort, even compared to stronger cultivators. It is rare to have the talent for crafting, but Evan doesn’t let that stop him – his talent might not be extraordinary, but it’s better than average, and that’s enough. When he discovers a strange thing in his soul, he realizes that his path just might be longer than most, and that a myth was only the start. No. He would build a different legend, one fit for him.
