Synopsis
Failure. In trying to create a world that valued living beings not for their usefulness as tools but as intrinsically significant things, failure befell the virtuous. Humans are now bred and engineered into human-animal hybrids from birth obeying the volition of the elite. Propaganda filled to the brim with techno-fetishistic delusions and unending lies is now accepted as the immutable truth. The opposing branch of humanity that split itself apart from the fleshy hellscape of planet Tarrasque is no less corrupt and horrible than its organic counterpart.
As with all things though, there is hope. Even systems and governments operating with utmost meticulousness may fail to spot cracks in their rule. These cracks in the walls of fictitiousness can let in faint glimpses of reality, and it's only a matter of time before the wounds on the wall widen and everything is revealed.
This is a tale dealing with the ways of the corrupt and how they too can cleanse themselves of sin, giving new life to a place where supposedly there already is plenty.
