In a post-apocalyptic world where magic and technology intertwine, Tyson is an anomaly. While his peers ventured Washington's Crossing into the dungeon confluence of Man’hatta to bond with their cores, Tyson's parents have held him back. This year, as a wave of eager teens floods Fortress Lee, Tyson resolves to embark on his Corequest. In this world, cores define one's fate. Bond with a core, and gain the powers of the creature that formed it. Remain unbonded, and you can summon the creature or channel the core’s powers, but doing so comes with a myriad of consequences, the worst of which is losing yourself to the drives of the creature. Tyson will face the challenges and navigate the various factions vying for control of Man’hatta. As he delves deeper, he'll uncover secrets that challenge everything he's ever believed about the System.
