Connor Hasak understands what middle school is about. However, everyone else isn't as willing to accept it as easily as he did. Still, he tries to make it through the day without lashing out angrily or secluding himself entirely. But when he meets someone who sees him for someone better than he is, Connor starts to open up and genuinely feel something he hasn't felt in a long time: happiness.
