There was always the ice and snow.  As long as Avengus Crue (Aven to his friends) has been alive, that's all the world has been. An endless hunt for resources, whispers of distant lands where sunshine and warmth have a place in the world. A hunt which Aven has always wanted to pursue. But he finds himself dedicated to his friends and family before his dreams, and more importantly, terrified of a hoarde of beasts named the Brazen which lurk the Permafrost Wastelands, killing and consuming all who pass through. And so, Aven works to survive in a world seemingly designed to ensure humanity's demise. Will he find hope in this land of despair? Or will he succumb to the endless frost?
