Biotech has developed into the new industrial revolution and The Church, gone technocratic, dominates once again every aspect of people's life, thanks to a miraculous invention: Coelestis. A system that allows minds to be uploaded into a biosynthetic neural network forever.  In a miserable world, polluted and ridden by climatic instabilities, the promise of salvation seems the more appealing.
