A world post-Cold War, where monsters (non-human entities from folkloric roots all around the globe) decided to take control of the world and put humans back into their place, now faces a sudden tragedy: in the year 2019, a serial killer is roaming free in Howlingtown, making victims as he go while the police cannot appoint suspects at all, at the risk of causing a civil war between humans and monsters, that could escalate to horrendous degrees.But a young werewolf decides it's his chance to do good and stop the killer with the aid of his uncanny group of friends.In a world of shapeshifting beasts and magical beings, however, nothing is what really seems to be.
