Seventy years have passed since the war with the Chron began, seven have gone by since the Red front fell and with it more than half of old Europe. The European Union, and by consequence mankind, stand at the precipice of utter annihilation.  When faced with extinction any alternative, no matter how cruel, becomes viable.And so those too young to be called adults and too old to be safeguarded from the harrowing realities of war are forced into the battlefield as mankind's soldiers. Among these unlucky many are two children who survived the impossible, the harrowing realities of a world beyond the hold of humanity, and it is with those children, and their generation, that the fate of humanity will be decided, be that death or victory.
