Three months had gone by since Christopher Krast was dragged away from everything he loved and tossed into a dying world. Three months spent kicking, screaming, and nursing twin vipers of rage and grief at the injustice of it all. Three months of coming to terms with the fact that the life he built for twenty years, was gone. He had been trying to piece himself into a facsimile of what he was, but the pieces no longer fit. He was in ruins. Parts of him died in the transition from one world to the next.  Now he was locked at a crossroads. Forced to choose between restoring what was broken, or scavenging what he could from the ruins and building something new. Either choice depresses. Yet he had to choose or he risked being consumed by the twin vipers nesting within him.
