The Multiverse is a wonderful clockwork of universes, though sometimes it has collisions. These collisions can have unintended consequences on certain worlds, mostly teleporting individuals across the dimensions.  Wyndham finds himself transported to a world, one that he does not know, but one that knows him. He finds that destiny isn't what it seems to be.
