Synopsis

Thursday, November 25, 1993: A city now known as Solarium City has become engulfed in a strange seafoam-like substance. Three generations of the populations' offspring later the parents and their offspring have survived inside the city but no progress has been made since that day and only a broken and segregated landscape remains. They are now calling the substance Bahari or Parls depending on how much it has mutated. Most of its inhabitants are blissfully unaware of what has happened and are stuck in a time-stop moment where they navigate as if nothing has changed and are unaware when they are controlled by anomaly events.  During these events, organic matter can mutate into a predator or prey-like creature that wreaks havoc around the city. However, a minority from each of the three generations have survived alongside the remaining population as protectors or witnesses.  The First Generation is a remnant of people from a world before Solarium's creation and it shows when a morally grey decision is presented. The Second Generation were children when the great storm occurred and quickly became broken as the first-generation wars forced and repeated anomalies took their innocence leaving them wanting nothing more than to play with the monsters that prey when the city sleeps. They now seek to turn any and everything into a game no matter how morbid the situation. Lastly, the Third Generation is an even smaller sub-sect of pure-born Solarium children who have only known the hauntings, anomalies, and playgrounds throughout the city. Though none of them have seen a storm like the second and first generations nor their wars when storms come.  The story takes place the day before and years after the original great hurricane had struck the city giving a group of children a unique connection to the Bahari source that falls from the domed city ceiling, washes up from seafoamed shorelines and waterways, and occasionally forms from a dead or living organic carcasses. After the storm's most recent resetting of the Solarium inhabitants, the city becomes a new frontier for the third generation to decide what becomes of it all. Leaving the remnants of the first generation struggling for power against the stronghold of the second generation's youthful vagabonds who rally for power and domains that they declare theirs. Ultimately, the fates of everyone in the city are chosen. The pasts and the truth of the cage they are stuck in hide behind lies of honesty birthed from failing minds turned to madness...It is up to the children of the third-generation inhabitants to discover the past present and future of Solarium City from its shoreline, canyons, and lagoons to its deep-rooted forests based on the eastern side of the city's artificial light source. The many different creatures that creep out in the off times aren't always what the stories would have you believe they are. Will the children survive the anomalies and power struggles within or will they succumb and become just another terror preying on Solarium's dwindling inhabitants?
