At the age of 6 young Yimu starts cultivating and immediately has a mysterious accident that makes him inept for over a year and stunts his growth considerably. After this everyone except his parents and his grandfather gives up on him, yet at 14 even his grandfather seems to have lost hope. Giving the young Yimu one last chance he sends him to a dangerous cultivation trial to meet an Alchemy Grandmaster that offered his help.  Will Yimu survive this trial? Will the grandmaster be able to heal him? What does the future hold for him now that nearly everyone in his clan despises or ignores him?
