The world is changing and we must accept that change, for it is inevitable. Magic, once forgotten is being remembered by those who should not know of it. People with powers that seem to belong to the gods themselves are becoming commonplace. A rapture is coming. Goddess save those at its center. -------------------------------- Melody has other worries, like fitting in at school, keeping up with her classes and finding her way in life. Sadly, that life gets upended when she is nearly killed by something no longer human. Suddenly, she is pulled into a world of magic and mystery. A world on the brink of a revolution, one she seems to be at the center of.  Those who were once good become too desperate to hold on to their power to begin searching for a way to stop what is coming. Those once shunned for their cruelty gain power they should have never been able to touch. In all this chaos Melody simply tries to learn the basics of magic. But time is not a resource she and her mentor seem to be blessed with. Forces beyond their ken are closing in, worlds that shouldn't know of each other touch, and secrets best left buried come to the surface.  So let the magic flow, embrace cruelty and sadism, accept that sometimes the best answer can only be seen as evil, little one.
