This fanfiction is set in the Overlord universe, created by Kugane Maruyama. I am new to writing and have been in love with the Overlord universe for some time now, and am trying to create a fanfic that would be entertaining for myself and my friends to read. I hope you find it enjoyable as well!Goren Aggoth and Asriel Zabkiel, real names James Moore and Alexander Davis respectively, spend the last day of Yggdrasil's existence together in their guild base - the Palace of Demeter - waiting for the servers to shut down. The two Players spend their last few minutes touring their guild base, the virtual home they've put all their blood, sweat, and tears into for the last four years. However, just before the servers shut down for good and their favorite DMMORPG disappears forever, the two Players find themselves in a new world, inhabiting the bodies of their player characters, with James now the demonic Goren Aggoth and Alexander the angelic Asriel. They find that not only are their powers and abilities still intact, but also that their guild base and the NPCs they had created have become real as well. Now, they must figure out how to live the new lives they have been thrust into, both as the infallible 'Supreme Beings' their NPCs believe them to be, and as newcomers to this world full of magic, adventure, and mystery.
